Today was my very first GEM workshop, although it was the fourth GEM workshop for many of the rest. :) I haven't really been attending the previous sessions, because I had to attend a compulsary leadership course, and definetely not because I was playing truant and did not want to attend.. :) haha. GEM is most definitely not what I had expected it to be, in fact, it is even better!! Not only have I made alot more new friends within just one session, but i have also learnt alot many skills within this short session of just 2 hrs.. how I wish it could be longer :D
I found out just today that we had to do a short 2 minute speech on our passion.. People like David was very entertaining and others like Regina and Geraldine were very well-prepared and confident, especially since they read from their heart. Today's session was indeed very enjoyable and to end of our session, we're all making our own blogs and have been asked to personalise our blogs with posts and templates. We were asked to display the character of individuality in our blogs.. So I encourage all of you to display individuality in your blogs and you are who you are... :DD at least I have 5 more sessions to look forward to. But unfortunately, I can't attend next week, again, because I have another, in fact, my last High Achievers leadership course.
I look forward to postiong more.. uhhh... posts. :DD
